Geopathic Stress (GS)

Geopathic Stress (GS) can be defined as ‘a disruption to (or distortion of) the earth’s natural energy field causing harmful radiation to emanate from the earth’s surface’. Its causes are numerous and include natural sources such as underground streams and geographical faults as well as man-made sources such as motorways, mining, building foundations or battlegrounds. In cases where a house has been built on top of these lines the harmful energies will run through the house both vertically and horizontally. The more time that an individual spends in these ‘fields’ of harmful energy the higher the risk of illness.

Research has identified strong links between GS and many illnesses such as M.E., cancers, anxiety, depression, lethargy, cot death, asthma, infertility, insomnia, chronic fatigue and susceptibility to colds and flu as well as poor quality of sleep. Although GS itself does not make you ill it does compromise the immune system thus making it more difficult for your body to resist succumbing to illnesses or recover after illnesses.

GS can be detected by dowsing, i.e. using copper rods or a pendulum to locate the harmful energies. GS found during the consultation will be treated using appropriate methods, e. g. earth acupuncture, crystals, symbols, etc.

EMFs and Electrosmog

EMFs are electro-magnetic fields generated by the mains wiring and appliances in the home as well as pylons and other sources outside. Electrosmog is the invisible electromagnetic radiation resulting from the use of both wireless technology and mains electricity.

Worldwide research has shown connections between low levels of low frequency EMFs and serious illnesses which include cancer, depression, miscarriage, brain tumours and dementia. Evidence suggests that these environmental as well as lifestyle factors (such as smoking) are responsible for increased numbers of people suffering from cancer, sleep disturbance, lethargy, headaches, epilepsy, behavioural and mood changes, memory and concentration problems, depression, dementia etc. The Health Protection Agency Radiation Protection Division (HPA-RPD) has accepted the connection between childhood leukaemia and very low levels of power frequency EMFs.

The sort of levels associated with these health effects can be found near mobile phone masts, digital cordless phones, Wi-Fi systems, wireless internet connections (wLANs) and WiMax systems which are becoming more and more evident in towns and cities.

EMF and Electrosmog readings are taken using professional meters in all bedrooms as well as areas where a lot of time is spent, e.g. in a room where you may spend long periods of time sitting in front of a computer. The meters measure your exposure to the low frequency electric and magnetic fields which are associated with substations, powerlines, electrical appliances, etc., and the radio frequency fields associated with mobile phones, mobile phone masts, WiMAX and WiFi, microwave appliances (including wireless enabled equipment), baby monitors and other alarm systems, and cars.

9 Star Ki

9 Star Ki, based on the I Ching, is one of the oldest forms of astrology in the world; originating in Ancient China and spreading to Japan. The original concept of 9 Star Ki is based on the 9 key stars which have most influence on human chi (energy) which includes Vega, Polaris and the Ursa Major constellation (also known as the Great Bear). At the time of a person's birth variations in the cycles of chi of the earth and the heavens combine to provide a unique mix of chi for that person, i.e. these stars are in a particular position at that time and give out a particular energy at that time. This energy acts as an imprint for your life which affects the way you interact and relate to other types of chi, whether the chi is from a person, animal, or place.

9 Star Ki can be used to determine the most auspicious time to undertake major life changes by ensuring that the two energies (your own imprint and that of a specific time in the future) are at the very least compatible, and preferably auspicious. It can be used to determine the optimum dates for various events such as getting married, starting a business etc.

Nine star Ki can also be used to help understand a person's personality, how they relate to others and relationship compatibilities.

Ming Gua numbers

Ming Gua is an astrological system which includes the calculation of your Ming Gua number (derived from your gender and year of birth) to gauge the four directions which are most auspicious for you. In turn this information can be used to find your optimum sleeping and working directions.
